Love to be loved. Loves. Yes! You can change and create that aspect by a mere email to the publisher. The site is a collective. Old sense. You want something to perhaps happen, all need be is a single post for all to see. It works how it works, if it works at all, like so: ifn'the publisher likes the idea, or challenge of coding it, it will happen sooner than/or later.

RE: mysterious navigation: WP is more a multi-mouthed, usually not unilateral, poet than a site administrator, and the architecture is the user's choice. Right now, it is in its perpetual flux of no real confusion, just availability. The potential of what the Pub has created, (others perhaps looking on to some "higher" art): what I see is communication.

Is everything here not mere updated message boards add infinitives (rather than its Latin)? All the prefixes and suffixes are almost in place [ ; ] it's how each artist navigates [it] is what WP is no-ALL about.

That's why the mystery is here : these are tombs of the late 90s with new walls. Like a labyrinth of each perspective's making.

It's funny to think what internet activity equates to should any artist choose to participate in its plastics and light = that sound that = really, just the latest telephone.

Talk to you inside the art,

Love,

Wild Poets is a set of tools. Some of them are easy to use, some are more difficult. It's been put in place by all of us here (for I only built the skeleton, not the flesh, beauty, or movement of this place) for the sole purpose of encouraging you to create. We figure that if you can get your work published, you'll make more and better. So we've tried to make the tools of publishing (both online and offline) easily available to you.

But the point is that what you have here is a bunch of free tools and some other folks that are using them to publish their work. While we do offer some staff support, at the moment, all of the staff (including myself) work on a volunteer basis. This will change as more work is published and our reach expands, but the fact of the matter is that we are not venture capital funded, and so each one of the staff is working out of the goodness of their heart and their belief in your creativity.

But again, what WP is really about is just giving you the tools to create. We really don't care if you're a Spark Catcher or the Inferno of God in the forums as long as you're bringing your soul's vision to light.

Some other notes - Wild Poets pretty much has always been in "beta" - aka finished, but unpolished. As we run on open source software, we are constantly evolving and developing a better site, so at time the navigation and documentation may not keep up with the site changes. We are planning a large scale upgrade within the next year, where we'll be moving away from open source to our own code base, so this constant evolution will become a bit more steady.

Note that all organizations have a growth cycle. Right now, think of WP working through it's teenage gawkiness - it's big enough to fight and tumble and drive, but still has a long way to go before it's reached it's potential.

So, in closing, my apologies for any bumps with the way the system works, my thanks to Blue for starting this conversation, and please let me or another staff member know if you have a problem. You can contact us easily by going to Help -> Contact Staff.

Peas,

Goddamn pedantic grammar nazis...

and I give a damn good backrub... otherwise I'd still be a virgin...

But to throw some fuckit at ya, there's plenty o' places on the web to write. This one can do some cool shit and won't try to censor you. And doesn't try to own your work. Or try to mold you. It's about empowering you, not training you. Given what I've seen the entertainment industry (and I include literature under this broad umbrella), one has a better chance of getting Hillary Clinton to work at the O'Farrel Theater than managing to create anything of real soul in that environment.

So, this works fer moi... don't matter if it's not running like a youtube fanclub - it got my work out in front of a whole lot more folks than if I'd decided not to quit MTV back in the day, and is a helluva lot more fun.
